This airbrush is on the par with the Tamiya HC and the Iawta airbrush that I have been using. It does not do extremely fine detail work but for 95% of my painting it is mor than adequate. Plus it does ship with two needle, .3 for most painting and a .5 for broader coverage. The chrome finish is very smooth and clean up is a breeze. Highly recommended.

I ordered this airbrush to use with a fairly low airflow compressor for working on details and models when away from the "grid", either by being in the garage or by being in a cabin in the woods for a few weeks. I suspected that the construction with eight airflow holes around the needle would be good for this.It turns out that was correct. The airbrush provides an even and solid feeling flow, even on low pressure. It also does not get flustered in the slightest by higher air pressure, making it an excellent all around air brush.I have used it for both base coating and fine detail work of models and figures, and it does both with grace and ease. The one thing I would like is a finer needle for some of the extremely fine work I do, but the airbrush performs very well on fine detail work even with the 0.38 needle. And most of all, it is very reliable for fine work, as the airflow always remains even. I can do very good detail work for the size of the needle.In short, I would recommend this for anyone who wants a beginner airbrush, or for anyone who finds their beginner airbrush a bit limiting. It is up there with the best airbrushes, but very forgiving due to the good airflow so suitable for anyone really.
